I am saddened to just learn about the passing of LTC Thurman D. Rodgers. I worked for him in the late 1980's out here at Ft Huachuca, AZ. His Command Sergeant Major was Randy Helton, who was one of my great friends. LTC Rodgers dedicated one of his official Army 8X10 photos to me and I highly cherish it and have it in one of my photo albums. My sincere condolences to June and the entire Rodgers/Scobee family. Unfortunately, I don't see the patient benefit in the 3+ hour wait in the children's emergency room when your child can't breathe - left gasping for air for over an hour until the attack eased off on it's own- and the latest treatments and advanced technology are sitting on the other side of the doors.
